Framing posters can be expensive (sometimes, more expensive than the poster itself.) But in my opinion is a necessary evil.
Full Poster Frame
The first method that comes to mind for the majority of people is to hang posters with your typical frame. A lot of people find this to be the most pleasing setup to look at, and the most professional. A good quality frame though can cost more than the poster itself sometimes, and not everyone (including myself) find the best value out of full frames. I personally recommend frames with no glass or plexiglass, as reflections can be somewhat of a nuance. However, sometimes a high quality poster frame can complete the entire look.
Poster Putty
Your absolutely cheapest option is going to be poster putty. All you do is stick the putty to the wall, and stick the poster to it. Simple, clean, cheap and easy. Only problem is, there is no frame now. And a frame can definitely add to the aesthetic of a poster. If you're on a budget, or just like the frameless look, this is going to probably be your best options.
Magnetic Wood Hangers
My personal favorite are magnetic wood hangers. You can typically find these for pretty cheap and they look fantastic. More often than not, they are more than half the cost of a normal frame setup if not more. Setup is super fast and easy, and I find the "scroll" look to fit my type of photography super well.
